Happy World Bee Day!! Bees and pollinators play a crucial role in pollinating crops and wildflowers, and without them, our food supply would be in danger. Did you see our awesome native Irish Wildflower seeds? They’re super cool AND locally sourced right here in Waterford! This means they’re great for all our local pollinators who are super important to our way of life. As part of our sustainable living ethos and our People&Planet project we thought these bad boys would go down a treat. All our climate council members received a pack and many of our supporters too. Come see us at our events and you could come away with some to grow yourself. We want to celebrate world Bee Day, raise awareness, and help protect our pollinators. We hope you will too!
